It hardly seems any time since we saw the launch of Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, the latest wireless networking standards. Talk is now turning to the next generation of Wi-Fi. The new Wi-Fi 7 standard will provide even faster wireless networking that can keep up with the speeds available with the rollout of multigigabit Internet services.

TP-Link is one of the world’s leading providers of consumer and business networking products, and it’s the first big brand to reveal its line-up of products with Wi-Fi 7. The new products are aimed at home and business users, including Deco Wi-Fi 7 systems, Wi-Fi 7 routers and Omada enterprise products.

TP-Link’s award-winning Deco line will include some Wi-Fi 7 devices that can handle multi-gig connections across a mesh network so that every corner of a home or office is covered with high-speed Wi-Fi. The flagship Deco BE33000 (BE95) is a quad-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh networking system that offers whole home 10G connectivity with wireless speeds up to blazing 33Gbps.

The BE33000 works across four wireless frequencies, including two 6GHz bands that help improve the overall Wi-Fi performance. One of the 6GHz bands can be set aside as a dedicated backhaul to provide even more robust Wi-Fi. The BE33000 has 10G SFP and 10G Ethernet WAN/LAN ports for connecting to the highest-speed Internet services. The Deco BE95 uses 16 wireless streams for the best multi-gig Wi-Fi experience.

Also new to the Deco range is the BE85. This Wi-Fi 7 mesh system is a tri-band device with speeds up to 22Gbps and two 10G ports. Meanwhile, the Deco BE65 is a Wi-Fi 7 mesh networking system operating across three bands and speeds up to 11Gbps with four 2.5G Ethernet ports.

A router is the heart of any network and TP-Link has also announced three Wi-Fi 7 compatible routers for the ultimate in wireless performance. The Archer BE900 router provides quad-band Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 24Gbpsn. The Archer BE900 has an innovative touch screen and 12 internal antennas; each positioned to get the best out of the various bands for as few wireless dead spots as possible.

With two 5GHz bands, the BE900 ensures client devices can get high-speed wireless networking, while the 6GHz band provides extra bandwidth and congestion-free channels. The BE900 also features two 10G WAN/LAN ports, an RJ45 port plus an RJ45/SFP+ combo port for connecting to fiber and copper Internet connections

The TP-Link Archer GE800 is a tri-band gaming router with Wi-Fi 7. The router has a futuristic gaming design and UI/UX designs. With speeds of more than 18Gbps, the GE800 has an industry-leading CPU and a powerful chipset. Quad acceleration ensures the best possible gaming performance. The Archer GE800 features two 10G ports, two 2.5G ports and four additional gigabit ports for entertainment, gaming, 8K streaming and a NAS. The dedicated game band ensures that online gamers have priority and no longer need to compete with someone else in the house streaming a 4K movie.

TP-Link also unveiled the Archer BE800, a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router with wireless speeds of up to 19Gbps. The router has an LED screen, two 10G ports, plus four 2.5G ports. Meanwhile, the new Archer BE550 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router with speeds topping out at 9.3Gbps and five 2.5G ports. Both models are EasyMesh-compatible for easy home mesh setup.

The new Wi-Fi 7 products from TP-Link all feature the company’s next-generation HomeShield 3.0 security software for comprehensive security. HomeShield includes an advert blocker and data tracking prevention. There are also intrusion protection safeguards to protect the network and applications from external attacks while eliminating vulnerabilities.

For business users, TP-Link has also announced Wi-Fi 7 products aimed at SMBs and enterprise customers. The TP-Link Omada EAP780 and Omada EAP770 are Wi-Fi 7 wireless access points for businesses who want to leverage the new Wi-Fi standard. The Omada EAP780 is a tri-band access point and can handle speeds up to 22Gbps. It also has two 10G ports. The Omada EAP770 is also a tri-band access point with speeds of up to 11Gbps over Wi-Fi 7. The EAP770 features a single 10G port for high-speed Internet connections.

Powered by Wi-Fi 7 technology, the new Omada access points harness the newly introduced 6GHz wireless band and the wider 320 MHz bandwidth with MLO technology. Both Omada access points can deliver higher data throughput, lower latency and less interference than Wi-Fi 6. The EAP access points are particularly suitable for auditoria, meeting rooms or hotels where many users need to go online simultaneously.

Pricing & Availability: The TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 products are available to pre-order from 12/31/2022 and will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2023. Other Wi-Fi 7 products will become available in the first half of 2023. Pricing for other Wi-Fi 7 products will be announced later.
