How To Buy Corporate Bonds At 5% Discounts And 10%+ Yields

Today we’re in a situation that looks a lot like 2016. And back then, some savvy contrarians tapped it to grab quick 62%+ returns. The same setup is back again—and so …

It seems a while since we heard from Marantz but now the company has launched a new CD player at the High End Show, Munich. The CD 60 is a high-performance CD player, engineered to provide great sound quality thanks to some advanced circuitry and the use of premium components. The CD 60 also has a striking industrial design and the kind of solid build quality that Marantz is known for.

“With so much attention devoted to the vinyl market plus the popularity of streaming content, we sometimes forget that an entire generation of music lovers built sizable collections of beloved compact discs,” said Joel Sietsema, brand president of Marantz. “Marantz was present at the dawn of CD technology with our original player, the CD 63. Now, the CD 60 reminds us why we fell in love with the format 40 years ago – delivering more warmth, musicality, and detail than any player in its class.”

The new CD 60 is made with modern materials and has a striking design that matches the existing range of Marantz amplifiers. The CD 60 is the perfect mate for the newly announced MODEL 40n integrated stereo amplifier.

Marantz participated in the development of the CD format when it was part of Philips. The CD 60 uses the latest HDAM amplifier modules, a proprietary Marantz technology used in the analog output stage.

The new HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) are superior in their overall response compared to off-the-shelf amplifier chip modules found in many other products. These modules have been further optimized for the CD 60 to flow current more accurately, leading to lower distortion levels at high frequencies.

In addition to great CD playback quality, the CD 60 also offers the convenience of a front panel USB-A port, enabling playback of a vast array of digital files such as MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192-kHz/24bit), and DSD (up to 5.6-MHz) from a connected USB storage device.

The CD 60 has a new reference-class D/A converter (up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD 5.6MHz) offering clarity across all frequency ranges. A unique benefit of the CD 60 DAC is the ability to choose between two filter options. Filter 1 offers a gentle roll-off while Filter 2 provides a sharper roll-off for more precise imaging.

The CD 60 also has the exclusive Marantz HDAM-SA2 high-performance headphone amp circuit with three gain settings (Low/Mid/High) for a perfect match with almost any headphones. The headphone amplifier can also be switched to “off” when not in use, eliminating any potential interference.

Pricing & Availability: The Marantz CD 60 player will be available from June and will sell for €799 / £749 from authorized Marantz retailers.
